Is the IBM PureSystem a game changer?
Last week IBM launched the ‘Expert Integrated Systems’ or PureSystem. Call it what you will, it is probably the most significant IBM hardware announcement in years. And I deliberately make a point about the ‘hardware’ part of that comment, as IBM are very keen that this launch is seen as a collaborative launch, driven by the software group and jointly heralded.
