Applied Technologies has been awarded the IBM Power Systems Specialty accreditation in recognition of our “significant investment in skills and certifications, having acquired and completed client references and having achieved market differentiation by successfully selling and deploying solutions based on IBM Power Systems.”

There are only two IBM Business Partners with this accreditation in the UK and the award represents Applied Technologies continued investment, professionalism and skill in the IBM Power market place.

Speaking on behalf of Applied, Steve Hollingsworth commented : “2012 was a year of continued progress for Applied Technologies, and being recognised in December as one of the very top UK IBM business partners for POWER Systems is an achievement we are justifiably proud of. I am confident that our AIX and iOS POWER team, from the pre-sales, the config team, the client managers through to the site engineers are as strong as any IBM partner in Europe. Our portfolio of clients crosses all verticals, including Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics and whilst POWER users are typically larger organisations, our approach to any project is the same, regardless of the client size, resulting in a number of smaller SMB clients choosing Applied as their partner of choice. As we continue to grow and invest in skills throughout 2013, I am very confident we will continue to enhance our POWER offering, and gain further recognition for our equally strong IBM Storage and Intel expertise.”
