Just a quick reminder that when purchasing a new IBM POWER7 710, 720, 730 or 740 running either i/OS, AIX or LINUX, clients can claim a rebate.
For certain old IBM servers IBM offer a rebate of up to $3000 for servers running i/OS and $1500 for servers running AIX or LINUX.
The old servers need to have been registered against the same customer number as the replacement system and for i/OS servers can be any of the following:

The list for AIX servers is vast and interestingly also includes competitors equipment including offerings from HP, Sun and Fujitsu.
