Further to comments made about mobile COD, the ability to move memory and processor activations between like systems, IBM still allows the movement of memory and processor activations between POWER5 and POWER5+ models. It is not limited to POWER6 and POWER7.
Also, for clarity, whilst it is possible to move i/OS licenses from POWER5 and POWER5+ systems, the receiving system must be POWER6 or POWER7. Charges are applicable dependent upon whether the systems reside in the same group. The charges include 1Yrs SWMA.
